The Lambi Fund's Center for Plantain Propagation…
At the Center for Plantain Propagation, Lambi Fund staff and local partners are providing free plantain trees to hundreds of farmers who had lost all their crops during the storms…
More damage assessment at the Mapou Rollin irrigation canal built with Lambi Fund's support, but our partners do not lose hope. They know that the Lambi Fund will support their efforts to rebuild!
We visited our partners in Bige, whose reforestation project, funded by the Lambi Fund, was devastated by the hurricanes. Tidjo our Regional Monitor, reaffirmed our commitment to stand by Bige in such trying times.
They have rebuilt their nurseries… and will start planting the trees soon…
Wherever we went to meet our partners from the Artibonite, we heard the same story, feelings of being forgotten by the government, and their profound gratitude to the Lambi Fund for providing support through the Hurricane Emergency Fund. They got immediate financial relief and the resources to cultivate their lands…
