The Importance of Kreyòl for Haiti

Hollande visited Haiti back in early May and described it as a great French-speaking country and offered French language and educational resources that could be shared with Haiti. The Haitian constitution names Kreyòl as the language of Haiti. This article discusses the importance of Kreyòl being used in schools and encouraged in positions of power.
